AUGUST 4, 2007...Prop repair

Louie and I got up early and delivered the props to Kawartha Prop repair in Peterborough John, the owner had convinced the staff to come in off holiday and rebuild the props.

We returned to the B.&B. for a great breakfast...sausage, bacon, fritatat, fruit, breads, fruit, etc. A lot more than we expected. The pictures are of the living room and kitchen...not a space available for one more Asian item. You could spend hours just looking at everything.

After breakfast we headed for Peterborough to view the worlds largest lift lock. It is on the Trent- Severn, the route most Loopers take. We then went back to the prop shop and were advised that we should take a long lunch. We found a little place on the Trent- Severn and watched a number of boats being locked .

We picked the props up at 3:00pm and headed for Perth and the Aquaris motel. This was the only place available within 100 miles. Not quiet the Marriott.

We had dinner at Fiddleheads on the river at an outside table. Nice little spot with average food and service.
