APRIL 29,2007...DAY IN PORT

Even when we stay in port we have to get up early!!! We were invited to go deep sea fishing with Irv and Dora today so we were up and out of here by 7:15 a.m. It was a beautiful day and "SPORTY GIRL" was all ready for us to hit the seas. We had a very good day, but did not however catch anything until the last few minutes when Craig caught a 15 lb. Bonita. Better known as a trash fish. After the photos were shot, we released it and headed for the marina.

It was a great day with or without fish. I did however get a little seasick when we got into a little rough seas. Not really bad, but it was enough to put me to bed for a couple of hours after returning to port.

The pictures are of our day at sea. The first picture is preparing the lines. The next is Craig working the pole to bring the Bonita in. The next picuture is pretty self expanatory.

Bob and Barb went up into the the crow's nest to ride out the waves. Looks like they had a great time.

After cocktails on the back of our boat...we had dinner at an Italian restaurant here at the marina. Very good food and lots of it.

Came back to the boat and tried to catch a couple of fish off the back of the boat. Not much luck, but did catch one snook that got away as we were bringing it in. Also caught a catfish, but threw him back.

Great spending time with Dora and Irv and we are so glad we took one more day here at North Palm Beach Marina.
