May 8, 2007...St. Augustine

We're still here. The winds continue to build and when the tide comes in we have a roller coaster ride for about 6 hours. A little calmer when it goes out. It has been to rough to try and move the boat to the other side of the dock. Does seem to lay down a little at night so been sleeping some.
It is colder here today than in Findlay, and a lot more wind.
The girls fixed a big breakfast and we did a little laundry this morning. The afternoon was spent on Georgia Street shopping. Not much to buy, but found a great little pizza place...Pizzalley. Thin pizza with lot of cheese and little sauce. May the day well worth it.
The pictures show the boat facing right into the wind and tide. The waves build on the other side of the bridge and hit us right on the bow. If it gets to rough we will find a bed and breakfast for the night. Cheaper than fiberglass repair if we try to move the boat.
The bird in the picture sits on the lines and fishes. I can't stand up on the dock with the wind and he balances on the line in 40 mile per hour winds.
I think we are out of her on Thursday morning, rain or shine.
PICTURES TO FOLLOW...connection is to slow to upload.
