August 10. 2007 Sodus Bay

Left Collins Bay and traveled 71.5 miles in three hours. A little faster than we have gotten use to. Finally in open water with trailing seas and no locks sure makes a difference. The captain got help from Louie as naviator and Steph worked hard on getting over a migraine.

We did pass a beautiful lighthouse as we got to Sodus and it is beginning to feel like we are on the homestretch.

Fueled up at Katlyn Marina just across from here and then settled in for the opportunity to see family. Tomorrow my sister Betty and her husband will be arriving for the day and then sister Joan and Bob will be arriving on Sunday.

Pizza on the boat and to bed early for me.
