July 6, 2007 We're back!!

Well here we are once again. We had a wonderful trip to Findlay and managed to include lots of friends and family in a short week. We saw six of our grandchildren, three of our children and spouses, and many wonderful friends.

We managed to get two air conditioners repaired (one at the condo in Sandusky and one in Findlay), got my hair cut, Craig got his hair cut, he had a doctor's appt. for his back (just a pulled muscle) and even had time to buy a new car. Then before we left town we both got a much needed massage. LIFE IS GOOD!!!

I did discover that I miss a lot of things that I have become use to not having. A king size bed, a full washer and dryer (I actually did two sheets and three pillow cases in one load!!), a refrigerator that you don't have to get on your hands and knees to see what's inside, a real computer, a car available at all times, a grocery store at my disposal, my favorite couch to crash on at 3 p.m., and most of all....my kids, grandkids and friends. But.....it was great to experience all this again and now it's on with the trip and the anticipation of finishing the loop.

The pictures are of our week at home The Boardwalk is at Put-in-bay on South Bass Island in Lake Erie. This is our favorite hangout on weekends when we are home. A great spot to relax if you choose or party hardy if you want that as well. Most of the others are at Steph's house on the 4th of July where she entertained the family with a delicious picnic. The weather cooperated nicely and we had a wonderful day with all the kids.

Notice the beautiful grandchildren!!! They range from 22 to 4 and each and everyone of them is a gem. We so enjoy each age.
