MAY 29, 2007... Norfolk
Day in port...we needed it. Rest in the morning then all hands on deck for a boat bath. Boy she needed it. ML took the shuttle to the grocery store along with 4 other girls. I think that was the best part of shopping. A little woman interaction was welcomed.
She got talking to one boater and she had a 100 questions on the loop. She and her husband started the loop a couple of weeks ago in Charleston. SC. ML invited them for cocktails. Dana and Mike came over about 6:00pm and we had drinks and discussed our trip. She brought a Canadian thank you gift...antipasta. Not what you think...it is a seafood relish you put on crackers. We can't wait to try it. Problem is if like it we will have to wait til we get to Canada to get a new supply.
Fresh water repaired and working. Now we can flush the toliet when under way.
We are ready to move up the Chesapeake when we get the Hackenbergs on board. Weather looks pretty good with south winds.
